Weber Sportcars design a Bugatti Veyron-killer

Top Marques Monaco show is all about fastest, gorgeous, and most exclusive sports cars in the world. Now, Swiss company Weber Sportcars has revealed its plans to exhibit a carbon-fiber super sportscar at the show. The company aims to snatch the title of the fastest street legal sports car, which is currently held by the startling Bugatti Veyron.

The 177.2-inch two-seater boasts a supercharged 900-horsepower, 7.0-liter engine under its hood. The 775 pound-feet of torque lets the vehicle to get from zero to 60 mph in 2.5 seconds while the top speed is said to be over 249mph (400km/h). Sadly, the new super sportscar doesn’t stand anywhere close to $1 million Bugatti Veyron in the designing part.

Based in turn on the preparation of the Mercedes-Benz C 63 AMG, the German manufacturer has submitted the 358 Concept Salon occasion of Australia (in Sydney), a striking orange color called “Pearl Orange”.

The model presents an extreme preparation, characterized by the AMG Performance Package Plus kit, bringing the power of its V8 to 6.3 liters of displacement, from 457 hp to nothing less, 487 hp. This is also reflected in an increase in torque, which is now 600 Nm.

Top speed (electronically limited) is in the 250 km / h, with acceleration from 0 to 100 in 4.4 seconds. Your tires are 19-inch multi-link. The most curious, however, is that, despite its striking color, the other components are nothing too “loud”, having a rear spoiler, a diffuser, and redesigned their bumpers as reworked elements, the rest if not for the painting, it could go almost totally unnoticed.

If anyone asks the price of this unit, when there is nothing official, but to give an idea I can say that the C63 AMG kit costs about € 85,724. We can begin to do math.
